Dromtrasna Challenge starts Saturday 19th October!

So what is the Dromtrasna Challenge? The challenge is a non-profit community event where participants, both adult and children exercise for charity. The event is open to anyone who wants to take part with all funds being raised going towards local charities! The event begins at Dromtrasna National School, Abbeyfeale at 9am, this Saturday.

Adult participants can choose between a 4K walk and a 5K/10K run, with kids participating in a 2K children's run. This is the 5th annual Dromtrasna Challenge, with the challenge raising over €66,000 for charities over the last 5 years. After the Dromtrasna Challenge, a night of entertainment will be held at The Winners Circle in Abbeyfeale, starting at 10pm on Saturday night. Charity donations can be made before entrance with a raffle to take place during the night. You can register for the challenge on www.dromtrasnachallenge.com or by visiting the Dromtrasna National School between 7pm and 8pm on Thursday, the 17th of October.
