P.S.A Watch Out, Scam Callers around Limerick!
Caution, as scam calls have been reported around county Limerick.
Limerick County Council have issued a statement that an individual is contacting numerous businesses pretending to be a former employee or member of the council. The individual seems to be asking people to sponsor an advertisement in a new council produced booklet. The council has specifically stated that the individual is not affiliated with them. The council has also mentioned that people should not give this individual any information, and if anyone has concerns about strange or suspicious activity, then to please contact their local Garda Station.
